What not to do at the Christmas party…

Christmas party season is just around the corner but before we get too excited check out this list on what not to do at your office party….

Dress inappropriately

The Christmas party isn’t the place to wear that ‘a bit too’ slinky black dress, or that ill-fitting suit that’s been gathering dust in the back of your closet.

Make sure you know what the dress code is and stick to it. If you are really worried speak to other people in the office about what they are wearing.

Think you are a Karaoke superstar, again, not.

Karaoke is amazingly, great fun when you are out with your friends but resist the temptation to show your talents at the office party. You remember how bad Bridget Jones singing was … that’s right that you would look that silly!

Don’t flirt with the boss!

Flirting always seems like a good idea especially at Christmas when the mistletoe is hanging…. But not with the boss, if you are tempted just imagine the feeling in the morning when you wake up. You will not feel good!

Don’t drink too much then throw a sickie

We’ve all been there! We’ve drank too much and then not made it into work the next morning, this is a total taboo at the office party. You will be ostracized for the year – if you can’t handle it in the morning then take it easy the night before – especially when your boss is there!

Finally do not ask for a pay rise!

You know you’re worth it but remember this is not the time to point it out. Most importantly remember to enjoy yourself – Christmas only comes round once a year!

We encourage customers to book a table for food to be guaranteed a place, as all bookings take priority over those customers who turn up without a booking.

We will NOT be taking bookings for DRINKS ONLY – these tables will be offered on a first come first served basis

Our Roof Terrace will not be available to book initially and the outside bar will not be open, until we receive further clarification on guidelines from the Government.

Please complete the relevant form below for any bookings Monday to Saturday and we will get back to you. Alternatively, give Emma a call on 01633 223311 to discuss your requirements.

Please allow us 24 hours to confirm the booking. If you haven’t had a response in that time, please give us a call.
